Hi,
I have same problems than Frank has

My configuration is:
Telnet Server v1.14a (SSH not in use) and OS is WinXP SP2.
It works fine a couple of days (about 10-20 connections) and now it tells "connection to host lost", even I had user name and password right. Some times I have noticed that, if I write user name and password purposely wrong in first attempt, it might log on successfully second attempt with correct usern/passw, usually not.
Same problems occurs sometimes when I try to connect telnet connection same computer as using (IP: 127.0.0.1).
When I reboot PC, Telnet works fine again a few days.
Is there risk this kind of problem, if I terminate connection abnormal way? I mean that, sometimes my firewall is asking permission to connect to internet if I using new program (via telnet from another PC) that wants to connect to internet and telnet session stay waiting that reply -> telnet stuck -> close command prompt.
This might be the problem?

Do you see the same pattern in log files that Frank posted ?

Could you try the [url=l0c41://www.kpym.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=94]pslist.exe test[/url] when you see the problem again?
Could you try to restart KTS service only instead the PC and see whether you still have the problem?

I have the same issue, my client are hand held scanner which they connect to WIn XP PC that runs KTS in Telnet mode. Every few days I have to restart the KTS service on the PC. Here is part of log file:
