Hello, Whenever I access my Kpym telnet server through my public IP, it seems to freeze when it does the trial countdown. It will display the demo screen but the number that counts down from 4 doesn't move. After about 5 seconds it says "Press any key to continue". I hit any key and the prompt goes away. But it never displays the login screen. Instead it just sits there and my password times out. I have forwarded port 23 on my router which is a DLINK WGL-550 and have allowed port 23 through all firewalls. I know that firewalls is not the problem because whenever I use kpym locally it seems to work just fine (localhost). Please help me I need this to work publicly. PS I am using DynDNS but that is not the problem, it does the same thing as my public IP.

It looks to me like you are running this in a slow network.
Try increasing "pass_timeout" and "io_timeout" parameters.

I tried what you said to do, I adjusted the io_timeout and the pass_timeout parameters but I still get the same problem. I think it may have something to do with my router or something like that. Can you sudjest anything else?.

Could you switch off your firewall and then try to connect.
It might be a firewall issue after all.
