Sending a break to a Cisco Router
Mo Sending a break to a Cisco Router

HI,

I have the ssh server running on my box, when I login it will telnet to my term server. When I try to swtch back from one of the routers ("R1") back to the term server with Ctrl+Shift+6, then 'x', which is break for cisco routers, nothing happens, I just see the x come up at the prompt..?

I have tried switching the server from ssh to telnet and this has not helped, can you help me?

You can try this

in Program Files\KTS\utf-8.ini file replace the lines
Code:
; ctrl + b
input1      =   "02"
key1      =   "FFFFFFFF   1 8 0 1 11   1 8 2 1 42   0 8 2 1 42   0 0 0 1 11"

with
Code:
; ctrl + b
input1      =   "02"
key1      =   "FFFFFFFF   1 8 0 1 11   1 18 0 1 10   1 18 1E 1 36   0 18 1E 1 36   0 8 0 1 10  0 0 0 1 11"

This will tell KTS to generate Ctrl+Shift+6 on the host whenever you press Ctrl+b in the client.
